Best eats would be the Driftwood. Scenic Drive would have to be the Trout Lake Truck Trail do not try this with the family sedan. Castle Rock Road is another nice trail that you can navigate in a car. There are plenty of nice cabins and motels in the area. In the Soo you have to eat at the Antlers. It is not what it used to be but still great food and entertainment. There is good fishing all around this area.

Launch your boat at the St Ignace boat launch. Once you are about a mile out you can set the downriggers. The lake has steelhead, lake trout, splake, atlantic salmon, and chinook salmon. A mixed variety that offer a challenge for the great lakes fishermen. You can watch the sun rise over mackinac island or watch the sun set over the mackinac bridge. When you are done fishing clean your fish at the cleaning station.

I finally have the Chrome 1 ready for the boat launch. I will pick up the launch seasonal pass tomorrow and will post reports. Sounds like the Lake Trout are pretty abundunt.
